The Police officer identified as Constable Emmanuel Osei of the National Swat Unit was killed after three armed men on motobike attacked and robbed a bullion Nissan van
Constable Emmanuel Osei was found lying face down in a pool of blood.

The Driver of the bullion van also sustained injuries and was rushed to the Korle -bu hospital.
According an eyewitness a woman known as Afua Badu believed to be in her 40’s was also shot and dead by the robbers cause raised an alarm .
The robbers always made away with the Police Ak47 rifle and an unspecified amount of money
